Enrollment at Odyssey Early Learning Academy
Your child’s early learning journey starts here.
We’re honored that you’re considering Odyssey for your family. Because our program operates at full capacity year-round, we use a waitlist-based enrollment system to ensure fairness, transparency, and clear communication for all families.

Ready to Enroll?
To begin the enrollment process, a non-refundable $50 waitlist fee is required. After payment, you’ll be automatically redirected to our electronic waitlist form to submit your child’s information.

How the Waitlist Works
The waitlist fee adds your child to our official list and records your waitlist date. While it does not guarantee immediate placement, it secures your position in our enrollment process.
What Families Can Expect
-
You will receive periodic email updates regarding your child’s status.
-
Waitlist order is always date-based to ensure fairness.
-
Your child’s position may shift as they age into the next program level.
Age Group Movement Example
If an infant on the waitlist turns 15 months and moves into the toddler list—and their original waitlist date is earlier than yours—they may move ahead of you in the toddler queue.
These natural shifts ensure that all families are placed based on the date they first joined the waitlist, regardless of age transitions.

Next Steps
After completing payment:
-
Fill out the waitlist form you are redirected to
-
Your child will be officially added to our list once the form is submitted
-
You’ll receive confirmation and future updates from our team
When a Spot Becomes Available
When an opening matches your child’s age and schedule needs, we will contact you by email or phone. We kindly ask that families respond within 48 hours to accept the spot. If we do not hear back within that window, we will move to the next family in line to ensure timely placement.
Start the Process
Join our waitlist today and take the first step toward securing an exceptional early learning experience for your child. We appreciate your trust and look forward to welcoming your family into our Odyssey community.
After submitting payment, you will be redirected to an additional form. Your child will not be added to the waitlist until that form is completed and submitted.
About Tours
Because our program operates at full capacity and maintains a long waitlist, we are unable to offer in-person tours until a placement is available for your child. This helps us protect the calm, predictable classroom environment our children thrive on and avoids daily disruptions caused by frequent walk-throughs. Families will receive an opportunity to tour the center once a spot becomes available and before making any enrollment decisions. We appreciate your understanding and your respect for our classrooms and the children we serve.

FAQ:
How long is the waitlist?
Because we operate at full capacity and experience very low staff turnover and family movement, we cannot predict an exact wait time for any age group.
Openings occur only when:
-
A currently enrolled child transitions to a new age group
-
A family relocates or withdraws
-
Our oldest group of students transitions out of the program, into Kindergarten (generally happens between late June to the beginning of September)

Your placement remains date-based and transparent. When a matching spot becomes available, we contact families in order.

Should I get on the waitlist before I am pregnant?
If possible. Many families join our waitlist well before pregnancy or during the early stages of planning. Because enrollment is based on openings rather than predictable timelines, the earlier you join the list, the better your chances for a future placement.
Do siblings get priority?
Yes. Siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority placement whenever possible. Priority applies within the same age group and schedule availability.
How does part-time vs. full-time enrollment affect placement?
Full-time enrollment receives priority.
Because most families request full-time schedules and ratios are fixed, we are often only able to accommodate full-time placements first. Part-time placements are offered when the classroom schedule allows.

How should I choose my child's schedule when enrolling?
We strongly encourage families to enroll using the schedule they expect to need long-term. Because part-time schedules share a classroom spot with another part-time family (on opposite days), those schedules are locked together.
This means:
-
We cannot guarantee that schedule changes will be possible later
-
Moving from part-time to full-time is usually not possible without a full-time opening
-
Switching days is unlikely unless another family has the exact change needed
For this reason, please select the schedule that best matches your long-term needs when joining the waitlist or accepting a spot.
Can I stay on the waitlist if I decline a spot?
Yes. You may remain on the waitlist if you decline an offered placement; however, your application date will reset, and your family will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist for your child’s age group.
Do I need to renew my waitlist spot each year?
No. Once you’re on the waitlist, your spot remains active until your child either enrolls or ages out of the program.
Do you accept vouchers or subsidies?
Yes. Odyssey Early Learning Academy proudly accepts state childcare vouchers and subsidies.
We believe every child deserves access to high-quality early education, regardless of a family’s financial circumstances. Accepting vouchers allows us to support more families in our community while ensuring children receive the same nurturing, enriching early learning experience as all of their peers.

If you have questions about using a voucher at Odyssey or need help navigating the process, we are happy to assist.
